A New Decade.... Welcoming in the New Year!

Wow! It's 2010! Happy New Year to all my readers, not sure how many of y'all out there are reading this random blog of mine, but if you do read this, Happy New Year!

I didn't do much for New Years. I did go over to a friends house that I've recently gotten back in touch with -- long story there -- and we had a blast, being girls and giggling over random inside jokes from years back. Which was great! Back to normal! Well, as normal we ever were.

She got me addicted to the Show, Gossip Girl! Which isn't all that bad, as it is a good show. I'm 2 disks into the 5 disk 1st season the the show and I'm loving it! Hehe!

 I probably should get back to it soon. I'm addicted! Need to watch it. Lol! =P

I'm not really sure what my resolulitions for this coming year are.

But I do know that one is to save money up for a holiday over to Australia... which will hopefully happen within the year!

An Update.... FINALLY!

I know! I know! I'm horrid at remembering to post! But I'll do my best to post on a more regular basis.

Quite a bit has happened since my last update.

Let's see. I'll put them in bulleted form.

Here I go.

-We got to go and see John Cleese live on Nov, 7th, 2009,And OMG It was AMAZING! Seeing him live... sooo funny! 2 hours of total awesomeness! <3 Loved it! Absolutely loved it!! <3333 If you ever do get the chance to see him live, totally go for it! <3 Amazing AMAZING! Gotta love Brittish Humor!

- Mum and I took a great trip down to the Bay area the 8th through the 10th of November. Great to see everyone down there. Well, at least those who we did get to see. Sadly we didn't get to see everyone that we know down there, but hopefully we'll get to see everyone else soon! <3 Love y'all!

- Oh, on the 2nd of Nov. My "Little" Brother, turned 16! Wow! And he's going for his Driver's License Test on this coming Tuesday -- the  22nd, I believe, of December. He was going to take it on the 7th of December, but we got a TON of snow -- about 4ish inches at my folks house, and of course, the DMV was closed so he couldn't take it. He was totally bummed out! I know he'll do well when he does take it. <3

-My parents and a few friends threw me a suprise 21st birthday party the Saturday before my birthday.

-I turned 21, on the 23rd of November. Wow! It's crazy! I don't feel any different!

-I signed up for classes at the Junior College I'll be attending coming the 19th of January, 2010. And I also got into the dorms! YAY! I've got somewhere to stay. Mum and I will be heading over there tomorrow to pay for the dorms, before the office there closes for the Winter Holidays.

-We had the MaLode Holiday Party, and Melissa, one of my oldest best friends (we've known each other since we were 5 months old, or so) and I got surprised with a Joint Birthday Cake, as we're only 15 days apart in age. Most there were surprised that we were now 21! It's weird! I feel soooo old!

- Other than that, nothing much... oh wait!!! On the 7th of December, we got snow here! O.o Totally insane! Enough to make a decent sized snow man on our back deck, with real coal for the buttons, eyes, and mouth, and a carrot nose. My brother and I posed with it for pictures, of course! <3 Awesome! White December, even if it's all melted now, it was fun while it lasted.

My brother had 2 days off school, so an unexpected 4 day weekend.

I got to go over to a friends house, who's a Sr in HS, and we got to go somewhat sledding in her back pasture, and make snow angels. It was fun! And better than sitting around all day. She goes to a different HS than my brother, and they had a five day weekend. At least that's what I know. Don't if they had school on Thursday or Friday. Who knows, they might not have. Lol.

-Nothing much more excitement is going on. My grandmother is coming up early for Christmas, she should be here Monday or Tuesday of next week, and then staying through Christmas.

Our house is all pretty and has lights up, and this is our first year with an actual mantle around the fireplace, which is great! We have our stockings all hung up around that, and we have little figurines and candles on it! So Christmassy! It's awesome!

Anyways, that's pretty much all that's happened since I updated last! Again, I'm so sorry for being so lazy and not ontop of this but I'll do better, well, at least I'll try to do better. With going back to college next semeter, I'm not sure how much time I'll have, but I will try!

Getting Older... by the Day....

Well, y'all already probably know this, but each day, one gets older. Lol. I'm in a weird thinking mood today, well the last few days... IT's only a week till I'm totally 100% legal in the States, and it's a weird feeling.

I probably should change the title to the Bi-weeky goings on of a Young Adult..... but.... I'm too lazy, even though it's technally not daily... it's the thought that counts right?

I'm not really supposed to be on right now, so I'm going to sign off for now with promises of a longer more in depth blog coming up soon... I PROMISE!

And now for something completely different...

A Meeting with John Cleese.... well, fine fine. Not totally meeting him.... but... I do get to go and see him tonight.... LIVE!! Yes! You heard that right! Tonight! I get to go and see John Cleese live! Sooo Super EXCITED!

Ok, yeah, just a wee bit hyper, and not the usual way of starting one of my Blogs, but I couldn't help myself. Have to get myself out of the boring routine! So, yeah, here I am again, the crazed hyper blonde, who gets to see John Cleese Live..

Anyways, other happyness that's goin' on.... I'm going on a short holiday with my mum starting tomorrow and going through Tuesday. We're going down to the Bay Area and we're getting to go and visit friends down there. =]

Looking forward to it, definately!

Anyway, suddenly my hyperness is wearing off. Weird!

I need to get goin' as my laptop is actually starting to die, but I do promise to update soon!

Halloween Day Is Upon Us!!

Hey everyone!

so sorry for my not being as good at updating as I said I'd be. XD

Anyways, nothing much has been going on. Life is nice and relaxed, and I'm lovin' it! <3

Goin' to a play with my parents this afternoon. =] Already seen it and loved it and finally going to get my parents to go! Yay! Hehe! I'm good... yeah! I'm good. =P

I'm going to go to the play in costume, in my 1850's Pioneer dress. =] Just hoping I can actually fit my feet into my shoes, that are just a bit too small for me, as I got them .... um... let's just say a few years ago. Like 7 years ago - or so.

But it will all be fun! =]]

Next year I'm hoping to dress up as Harpo Marks.

Rain Rain... Love You Now!

One of the things I love to wake up to, even if it is in the middle of the night is the smell of wet dirt and rain. It's weird. I just totally love it. <3

Today, not sure what I want to do. Currently I'm still half asleep (so really I'm sorry if this blog is just rambling on about nothing), and trying to figure out what to make for breakfast. Food... Um, yeah.

Also I'm sorry that I haven't been updating as much, I mean to, just can't seem to get the words out.

Maybe, I'll go for now. Not sure what else to say. Maybe if I get the inspiration, I'll get another one out today! Who knows. Lol!

Guess It's Time For Another...

Here I go again! Lol! Not quite sure what I'll put but I feel bad for not writing as much in the last few days! Things haven't been quite as busy as I'd like, but then again, my book came, so I had to read it! Couldn't put it down. My brain is still on overload about it and I can't really talk about it, well not quite true, I did tell my brotehr who will probably never read it... but I want to talk to others about it but there are others in this house who want to read it, so I can't talk about it too much. *sigh* Oh, well, soon hopefully! Soon.

Anyway, once again, I'm home alone. A repeating thing that happens frequently on the week days, but this is mom's last working weekend, so I won't be home alone as much. It's nice having the house to myself, but sometimes it gets a bit lonely.

Fall is definately upon us! the temperature here has dropped drasically. Last week, we were sweating from it being too hot, now I'm wrapped up in blankets, and sweat shirts -- fine, one blanket, and a single sweat shirt, and I'm finally warming up. Definately thinking about adding some socks, as my toes are a bit cold still. but we'll see. I may or may not do that. Kinda lazy over here. Not sure if I wanna get up.

11 days till he leaves, kinda sad, but I know that as soon as that first three months is up, it will be better as I can talk to him again! Hopefully it won't be too hard.

So, apparently, our cat wants attention, He was laying on my bed, but decided to come out to the living room, where I'm at, and is now curled up on my lap, and kneeding my leg, which hurts... his Claws are sharp.. and purring happily. Well, at least once, of us is happy. Lol!

Going to sign off for now. This isn't as long as I'd have liked but I'm running out of things to say!
