Lost Sight, Couldn't See - Blow the Candles out, Looks like a solo tonight

Wow! I'm so sorry! I've been absolute rubbish at actually posting on a schedule that is worth remembering. Things have just gotten totally insane here - well not totally, but basically what happened is I just lost all inspiration to write... DARNED WRITER'S BLOCK!
Anyways, not much has been going on. Just classes and getting super excited about my Australian holiday - which is coming up in about 2 months! CRAZY! I can't wait! Well, the flight is goin' to drive me a bit bonkers, but it's all so worth it. :) I'll be sure to snap a tonne of photos while I'm there.

Classes are going fairly well - my roommate is great, most of the time - and I feel that I'm managing my classes alright. Sometimes I feel a bit overwhelmed like everything is piling up on me all at once. But I can handle this. I've got an assignment for Stats to do due Monday at 8 am (which is just an ungodly hour to have to be up and in class at - if I'm being totally honest), a poem to write for Monday's English class (*sigh* I'm not a huge fan of poetry), figuring out my painting for my painting class for Tuesday.... And on top of all of that, I've got a party to go to tomorrow afternoon - which, don't get me wrong, I'm totally psyched about (although of all the 'kids' there I'll probably be one of the eldest there...) but with everything that needs to get done, I know that it's just going to be a blah weekend.

So now, I'm just writing this, and listening to my iPod, which I managed to re-locate when it disappeared. And half dancing on my bed - when I prob should be doing some of the homework mentioned above. Lol. But I felt that I owed it to y'all to actually write something here because I feel so bad for not  posting anything for ages. Although I'm not totally sure what to write - my roommate did just walk out of the room with my umbrella, which is fine with me because mine is better than the other two little ones that we have (the one she took is one of those giant golf umbrellas that is really hard to turn inside out) and I'm not planning on going outside anytime soon.

I'm not even sure if I'm making any sense at all. Mainly just rambling, and keeping my fingers crossed that whatever I write down makes sense, but I apologize now for anything that feels to ya that I'm just goin' on and on about nothing really - well, that is what I am doing so if you're getting the feeling that I am rambling, then I guess it's working? *shrugs*

Anyways, I would love to hear from any of you who are actually reading this - if anyone is really reading this. And I just writing this for myself? Is anyone really out there reading my total ramblings of my totally boring and drab life? *shrugs* It's interesting and a good way to get things out definitely.

Oh, yeah, and if you can't get it from the title, I was listening to Candles - the version sung by Glee actors Darren Criss and Chris Colfer, that I just bought off of iTunes from the most recent Episode of Glee (Original Song). I'm hopelessly addicted to that show. :P It's quite sad actually and both my roommate and I were both totally squealing like fan girls at this most recent episode. Yeah, not saying anything other than it definitely had some ADORABLE and CUTE parts in it, that made it one of my all time fave eppies yet! Ok, yeah, before I give anything away I'm changing the subject, but I will say before I leave this topic, that the duet (darn! I just gave something away) that was sung by the boys, was amazing. <3 So cute and adorable... can you tell that I'm pro Blaine and Kurt? Lol!

Ok, next totally random topic, it's totally pouring here, if you didn't pick that up from the fact that my roommate walked out to go outside (I'm assuming to pick up dinner?) with my umbrella - totally and absolutely windy and pouring rain. Apparently it started to snow on mum when she was in town earlier... crazy! But sadly no snow here - just rain... lots and lots and lots of rain... XD So sick of the rain. *shrug* But I guess it's a good thing?

Anyways, I feel that I've been rambling along too much now, and hope that this didn't bore y'all (if anyone is reading this). Till next time, and I'll do my best to not wait forever and a day to post back again!

Food is amazing....

Well, I really do need to remind myself to eat more often. I got this craving for Nachos - there are no places within walking distance that accept our meal card (so I've not had Mexican in AGES!), so I broke down and went to the Mexican place across from campus (about a 4 minute walk from the dorms that I live in) and got myself a giant to-go box of nachos.. Oh, so amazingly good!! And after I actually ate, it made me feel so much better. And also the fact that I got an A (97%) in my Sign 1 class and managed to get into a sign class here on campus for next term totally makes me so happy and thrilled! <3

Anyways, life is going good. Got less than one assignment of maths homework left, and just have one more week - going to do my best to remember to go to the ASL club meeting tonight. Don't Forget! *laughs* Here's to hoping I'll remember in time and be able to find the right room. XD

Hope that y'all are doing well! Got my party this weekend! Going to be a blast! <3

Blahness....

Sometimes I swear that life is out to annoy me - Finals are evil. I swear they are.. I really only have 2 more... but they're both covering everything taught over the term. SERIOUSLY! *sighs* I mean, sure I get the subjects, but one of them is the class that I'm having issues in because it's a TON of reading and I really hate reading textbooks! XD Please just leave me be! I'm a visual learner, and I learn better doing things hands on. I'm feeling lucky though as I'm only missing a but over 9 points in my maths class (I've got a strong A). Math for me is a struggle. I've got a love hate relationship with it. And the FINAL is on everything covered this term! GAH! How am I supposed to survive that... I've got a week before I have to take it... and I'm so not feeling prepared! =[ Despite the fact that I got 100% on Exam 1, 95.5% on Exam 2, 99.5% on Exam 3, 101% on Exam 4, and 101.5% on Exam 5 - I'm still overly nervous. ^.^;; My classmates all tease me because I worry my head off about exams and then I get like a solid A on all of the exams... ^^; The last one that I took (Exam 5) was the one that I actually thought I'd do horribly on, and look.. over 100%! XD Crazy!

Sometimes I wonder.. is this really worth it? I mean schooling -- by the time I graduate from college with my degree in Deaf Studies (well with my four year degree) I'll be 26 and it'll be around the time that my younger brother (who's in 11th grade now) graduates from COLLEGE! That's just absurd! Shouldn't I be graduating before HIM! I mean he is five years my junior! *sigh* I mean I am doing what I love, but at the same time - is this really where I'm meant to do? Is this really where life wants me to go ? I think I over think things too much.

I guess I just needed to get all of that out. ^^;; Sorry about that, just uber stressed over finals and life at the moment... I so need to get away from this all! My Australian holiday can't get here soon enough!

Sandman Refuses to Come

Well, here I am once again, awake at this ungodly hour of the morning! I swear! It's way too early - or late, depending on how you look at it, to even be up! But *sigh* I'm here, and wide awake, the night before a bit maths test! At least I got all my work done (even though it did drive me quite a bit insane in the process but I survived.... somehow. Not totally sure what I did to make it through 7 sections of math homework and a review sheet in four days. That was just totally insane... and haha, yeah, it'll probably happen again before the next exam, which just happens to be the day before Thanksgiving.... oh, lovely! But I'll take it then so I won't have any maths homework over the holiday. So that'll be good.

But all in all, despite feeling like school is out to get me, I'm loving my classes this term. :)
But nothing really new to report, other than the fact that I keep on looking over at my laptop clock thinking to myself 'you should gooooo to sleep, it's almost 3 am!!' Yes, self I'm totally aware of the time. Just wanted to stop by and do a little bit of finger rambling on about nothing in particular.

I'm going to sign off for now, I know it's not long, but yes, I'm still alive, but just barely. Homework has started to bury me alive. Oh, so much fun!

Anyways, till next time.

Australia, Here I come!

Well, after a ton of saving up money this past summer, from work and such. I actually bought my plane ticket to go to Australia to visit my mate down there. I'll be going down there leaving California the 25th of May (I'll be landing Down Under on the 27th May around 8 am) and staying down there till the 11th June 2011. I totally can't wait!

Again, I totally apoligize at my lack of updating on a regular schedule. I just haven't been feeling very creative. I will do my best to update on my life at some point soon.

Much love!

Another Semester's Upon Us

Wow! Epic update fail! So sorry! *headdesk* Hopefully I'll be better at posting from here on out!

Well, another semester is upon us! And it looks like it's going to be a really interesting and fun one here! I'm only taking three full semester classes, and one short 7 week long class (or so I think it's 7 weeks, anyways, it shorter than the rest). I'm taking Intermediate Algebra, which is on Monday through Thursday from 12:30 pm to 1:45 pm, American Sign Language 1, which is on Tuesday and Thursday from 4:15 pm to 6:20 pm, Human Sexuality, which is on Mondays from 6:30 pm to 9:35 pm, and then a Modern Ballroom Dance class which starts on the 10th September, and goes through the 29th October, only on Fridays from 6:00 pm to 8:05 pm. I'm actually really looking forward to this semester! Seems great so far!

My Algebra professor is great, I am getting the material, which is making me quite excited. We'll see how it goes, but I'm in an ILP (Individualized Learning Program) class, so there is a ton of help that I can get if I need it, which I'm definately planning on taking advantage of if I need it. It helps to know that there are people out there available to help me if I need it. My teacher is very into the subject and is very open to answering questions and helping students out which makes her so much easier to approach.

My Human Sexuality class is definately going to be an interesting one. It just meets once a week, for three hours on Monday nights, which is a late one, but at least it's interesting. There are some immature people in there, but here's to hoping that it won't be too bad, and that they'll stop being they way they are? Hey, probably won't work, but helps to think positively right? Haha!

My American Sign Language class is going to definately be fun! I'm loving it so far! My teacher is totally awesome and loves to act things out so we get the meaning of the signs, new signs she's teaching us. It's going to be the hardest class I'm taking this semester, but definately going to be a fun one! Looking forward to it. She told us on the first or second day, that there are days that we'll be learning up to 50+ signs! Totally crazy but really looking fun to seeing where it takes me.

My roommate this semester, and hopefully next semester as well, is one of my friends from High School, and she was actually one of my quad mates from last semester. She's totally awesome and actually makes living here totally awesome! We've got so many random silly jokes between us and we're always finding something to laugh at. It's a total blast and I totally believe that this is going to be a great semester.

Anyways, Nothing really else to report, I'm still in my signing mode, as I just got out of my sign class about 45 minutes ago and we spent the last hour of class in No Talking/Texting Mode where you're not allowed to speak at all. Which is cool, and understandable considering that English and ASL have two different grammatical orders so you can't do both at the same time. It's just not possible. So lots of 'acting' out to get the message across as to what new signs mean.

Hope that y'all are doing well!

Till next time, Nemo

Oh, darn it all...

Wow! I so meant to like not go this long with out posting an update! So sorry! I've been insanely busy with Uni this term!
Got less than a week left, my roommate has already moved out (good riddance I say), and all I have to do is survive finals, and I'm done! Through with my fifth term of Uni! Yay for me! <3
Totally loving where I am right now, loving school, life, and my classes for the most part (except for Exams but then again who does like exams? Crazy people? =P)

I'm feeling like this move in schools was totally right for me. I love being able to go home for weekends if I want to, as it's just a 45 minute drive away.

Well, summer is FAST approaching, and I've got a crazy insane summer lined up. Working three days a week watching my mum's friends two boys starting on the 7th of June. Then I'm done a bunch of pet sitting starting the 20th of July, and going straight on through the 21st of August (with a wee break at the end of July and beginning of August as we're going to Yosemite for a Family Holiday with some friends. Should be awesome fun!) Crazy busy working summer, but I'll be earning enough money for my Australian Holiday that I plan to take around June or so of 2011. <3 So looking forward to that holiday! Just nervous to be flying 20+ hours one way, alone. But I know I can do it. I'm a big girl now. =P My mum tells me she's proud of me for being so goal oriented, but in a way, I think she thinks I'm loony for not putting more of my money I earn this summer in savings, but she told me I could take this Holiday if I pay for it all myself, so that's what I'm doing! Hehe! Of course I'll set a bit aside for me to spend on basics here and there before I do go, but for the most part I'm saving it for my trip. ^-^

Anyways, not really sure what else to say.... I did get stuck with this girl as my roommate, who at first we got along great, but then, as the term progressed, I just started getting more and more annoyed with her. She left suddenly, with out telling me where she was going or anything like that, on Thursday. She took all her things and just moved out. Which is great! But at the same time, annoying as now I have to clean up her side of the room, under her bed, and all that. Fun! More cleaning to do on top of finals. But to be totally frank, I'm so happy and relieved that she's gone! Now I can be myself, my normal crazy loony self with out worrying about her judging me! Yay! <3

I'm also really missing my best friend, who went off and joined the Marines. If he's reading this, you know who you are. I miss you! So much! I think about you everyday! You're in my thoughts, and I do hope that you're keeping yourself safe! Love you!

Anyways, I probably should get myself to sleep as it's too early and I haven't slept yet. -sigh- Not tired at all, which is why I think I keep on typing. I have absolutely no idea if this is making a lick of sense. So here I am, signing off.

To any of you, who've been waiting for an update, I'm sorry it took me so long to get one out.
Thanks for being so patient!
Love you all!

Hugs!~
